When organizing construction work at a construction site or roadways, installing equipment at retail outlets and other facilities, it is very important to clearly identify a work area with people in order to prevent a car from running over them at night or simply visually mark the area so that strangers do not pass here. For this, a yellow reflective tape can be used (other colors are also available: red, green, blue, white, etc.). It is made of a special high-strength polymer, which ensures a long service life. The outer surface has a honeycomb (cellular) structure, which provides the necessary retroreflective properties. The back adhesive side is protected by a paper film, which makes installation easier. Installation is carried out manually without the use of additional tools or glue. The tapes are supplied in rolls of different lengths and widths depending on the tasks to be solved.

Application of reflective tape

The material is widely used in road works, construction sites, car parks, shopping malls and other areas. The main task to be solved is the reflection of light from external sources (lanterns, car headlights, natural light) to signal that work is being carried out here and there are people. This avoids running over equipment or people at night or when visibility is poor. The honeycomb surface of the tape reflects well even weak light sources, quickly signals the threat of collision. Reflective tapes are now actively used in the following areas:

• Marking of dark areas on the track;
• Visual selection of moving objects: trucks, construction equipment, loaders, etc.;
• Marking of overalls for visual selection of workers on the road or site;

With the help of tapes, dangerous zones can be identified to exclude the movement of non-working personnel along them, routes for safe movement around the premises, etc. can be determined.
