Bituminous tiles provide reliable, effective protection of the roof of the building from adverse environmental factors. This modern roofing material has special physical properties and a long service life, allowing the use of tiles even in regions with difficult climatic conditions. At the same time, flexible tiles can be installed on roofs with a slope of 12 to 90 degrees. Unlike metal tiles, slate and other roofing materials, this type of tile can be used for complex roofs of both residential and industrial facilities, while providing almost complete tightness.

In the construction industry, bituminous shingles also go by names such as roof tiles, soft shingles, shingles, or shingles. Tiles are produced in the form of flat sheets of small size (usually 1×0.33 m) with a cutout of a certain shape on one edge for ease of installation and ensuring tightness. Depending on the manufacturer, tiles are produced in various shapes (rectangular, triangular, hexagonal, wavy, etc.) and in a wide range of colors.
